Sleep Prioritization Scale

The Sleep Prioritization Scale is a 10-item self-report measure to assess attitudes towards prioritizing sleep. This questionnaire has been validated in both adults and adolescents ages 10-17 years. Items were developed using focus groups and further tested using cognitive interviews with both adolescents and adults (n =18). The final scale was tested with a sample of 170 adolescents and 170 adults, and demonstrated good reliability and validity in both samples. Details about the measurement development, testing, and descriptive statistics can be found in Alvarado et al., 2024. This scale is freely available to use for non-commercial research and educational purposes, but please cite the following reference in any publications:
